Ken Turner Seattle, WA http://www.kenturner-art.com/ Projections and Reflections on the Moment "Projections and Reflections on the Moment" reflects different aspects of the local environment from moment to moment as it projects images to the heavens. Using semi-transparent mirrors mounted on gimbals the sculpture gives the viewer unaccustomed views of the park, the sky, the water, and perhaps themselves. Whether the mirrors are rotating or not the images will change with the light and time providing a fresh perspective. Bio: Ken Turner is a Seattle area artist who works in sculpture and photography. Turner received a B.F.A. in painting from St. Cloud State University and a M.F.A. in sculpture from the University of Washington. He taught for several years at City University, Bellevue, Washington. Turner has exhibited nationally. His art is in many public and private collections including: Tacoma General Hospital, Seattle City Light, City of Duvall, WA, City of Kent, WA, City of Bellevue, WA, City of Redmond, WA, State of Minnesota, University of Washington, Tacoma Power, State of Washington, and PACCAR Corporation.
